We put out into the world, publicly applaud and taste the golden products of the artisans in the LA PAS Festival 2024: Gran Sârbova cheese, the best matured cheese in Romania, produced by the Court of Colors, and artisan mead from Miedăria in Buzău, the best in Europe ! Both were awarded gold this year at prestigious profile competitions.
LA PAS means meaningful tastings, and we will organize these two special tastings, in the presence of artisans, whom we are happy to have with us at this edition as well.
We therefore invite you to taste the cheeses made by the Court of Colors, including Gran Sârbova, the cheese matured for 12 months, awarded with the gold medal by the National Federation of Authorized Tasters from Romania. Maybe you already know, but it is worth reminding: it is produced by a social insertion enterprise, which is managed by Adriana Formenti, a lady from Italy who settled in Sârbova, Timiș county, where she works with young women from foster care centers. I produce cheese like in Italy in the village of Banat - Tondello, Caciotta with spices, Ricotta baked in the oven, Stracchino, Gran Sârbova, here it is, golden, and many other products appreciated by consumers.
And also at PAS we taste the artisanal mead produced by Mihai Negoț at Miedăria in Buzău, from Pâtârlagele. Mihai was present at the festival last year as well and everyone appreciated the liqueur he makes from fermented bee honey. Meanwhile, he won a gold medal at the most important dedicated competition at European level - the Mead Madness Cup, organized in Poland, with the India Pale Mead assortment.
The tastings are scheduled for October 5, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Casa Tineretului Timișoara, Aries street no. 19.
Participation in the event is free, thanks to the support of the financier, partners and volunteers.
We invite you to join our efforts and make your contribution for a responsible event! In this sense, we encourage you to travel to the event by means of public transport, on foot or by bicycle. Don't forget the water container too! Together we can reduce the impact caused by bottled water and create a suitable environment for learning and experiencing sustainability values for young and old.

The event takes place within the project "LA PAS în cartier", developed by CRIES - Resource Center for Ethical Initiatives and Solidarity. The project is part of the national cultural program "Timișoara - European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is financed by the Legacy Timișoara 2023 Program, run by the Project Center of the Municipality of Timișoara, with amounts allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.

The 𝐋𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐒 festival is an event open to the general public, during which the organizers will produce promotional and informational photo-video materials, a situation that will incidentally also lead to the processing of personal data representing images of the event participants. By attending the 𝐋𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐒 Festival, the participants implicitly give their consent for their eventual appearance in photo-video materials published/distributed by the organizers and their partners on their own communication channels and to the mass media.
