About
Open day at Domaine Ion Ghica from Ghergani, on the occasion
EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS 2024, the XXXII edition in Romania.
Every year, in September, millions of citizens are invited to visit historical monuments or take part in events through which they get to know the cultural heritage from all over Europe on the occasion of the European Heritage Days (EHP), organized under the joint initiative of the Council of Europe and European union. Since 1992 and in Romania, European Heritage Days offer participants the opportunity to discover not only historical monuments, but also lesser-known cultural heritage, usually not accessible to the general public.
Every year, a national theme is highlighted. The theme varies from country to country, but they all have one thing in common: highlighting the European dimension. The theme chosen for the year 2024 is: "Cultural corridors, European routes of heritage objectives".
Date of events of the XXXII edition in Romania: Saturday - September 21, 2024.
Access is free.
