On Holy Saturday, according to ancient custom, traditional dishes are prepared for the Easter meal. And this year, the Baia Mare Village Museum welcomes those interested with a proposal designed to remind of the old days, the traditions, customs and dishes prepared on the occasion of this great holiday.

On Saturday, April 19, between 10:00 and 14:00, the traditional oven inside the Baia Mare Village Museum will be available to those who want to prepare their traditional dishes for the Easter meal.

The fire will be ready starting at 10:00, for all those who want to bake cozonaci, homemade bread, păscuță or other traditional dishes.

The oven and fire will be provided by the museum team, and participants are invited to bring their own ready-made dishes to bake and personally take care of baking them.
