About

The Bănățean Village Museum, with the support of the Timiş County Council, invites you to Historia - a festival of historical reenactments covering the period from the Stone Age to the 20th century, which offers a captivating journey through different historical eras, recreating the atmosphere, customs and manner of life of the people of these periods.

We will be shown techniques for starting fire with the help of stones, making tools from stone, bone and wood, hunting rituals or worshiping nature, craftsmen demonstrating the art of blacksmithing, weaving, and the production of weapons. There will be medieval dances and demonstrations of bow and sword skills.

Throughout the festival, visitors will be able to participate in interactive workshops where they can learn various ancient techniques, as well as live performances that recreate major historical events.

This festival not only provides an educational and entertaining experience, but also a unique opportunity to understand and appreciate the evolution of human society over the millennia.
